The Holy Trinity Armenian Church Pastor, Rev. Archpriest Zareh Zargarian concluded the evening. He reminded all present that Armenia’s security is in grave danger, and focused on the overwhelming need of support for Armenia. He emphasized that keeping what Armenians possess is a high priority.

Talented speaker
I agree with Rev Father Zareh, with most of what he said. His sermons are usually quite good. I do however want to emphasize the need to also pay close attention to one's own community. The correct formula that needs to be followed in my mind, is the same successful formula that was used by our fathers and our grandfathers before them in the diaspora. Unfortunately, some very patriotic Armenians are supporting Armenia financially, morally and personally, while their own community lacks an Armenian school or an Armenian church or any community organisation. That kind of support is short sighted IMHO.
The right focus
Reverend Father Zargarian is right on. We cannot think of making greater gains without ensuring that we can keep what we have achieved. The key to future success is making sure that what we have is prosperous, democratic, strong, inspiring (like his speech). His sincere words deserve not only to be thanked, but also to be referred to in our future actions.
If every one does not ask every day before going to sleep a simple question, "What have I done today to ensure the survivability of my people, in Armenia and/or in the Diaspora?" then it might be already too late for us. I think Father Zareh's words are a call to achieve that consciousness.

Worthy of a Sermon
Rev. Archpriest Zargarian's message is clear and to the point. Armenia is in danger and it needs your help. This cannot be achieved by being disunited in the Diaspora. I wonder how many will heed his call. That does not however diminish from the value of what he says. People will really get encouraged if others join this patriot, irrespective of which church or denomination they belong to.
